IP Youth Council

The IP Youth Council is starting with our 2023-2024 academic year! Our Youth Council is for our Bonifacio and Rizal students only. During this pilot year, interested and engaged students will play a crucial role in setting the direction for this initiative.

Goals of the IP Youth Council are to:

  • Amplify student voice at Iskwelahang Pilipino – in how our school engages with students in and out of class.
  • Give students ample opportunities for leadership experience and skill development.
  • Cultivate a stronger sense of community and belonging among our upper school students.
  • Ensure Iskwelahang Pilipino stays relevant in the lives of our students and their futures.

This extracurricular group meets at retreats outside of lesson days, and will also get special time during select lesson days to allow all of our upper school students to learn about its mission! Recent alumni serving on our Board of Directors lead our Youth Council creation and activities.
